Philadelphia Flyers
Launched in September 2005 and supported by the National Hockey League and NHL clubs across North America, including the Flyers, Ace's Got Skills is modeled after the NHL's popular All-Star Super Skills Competition and gives boys and girls ages 9-12 the opportunity to come out and test their skill level in key ice hockey categories: fastest skater, most accurate shooter, shootout, hardest shot and best goalie.
The 2008 Philadelphia Flyers “Got Skills” regional event was held at the Polonia Bank Flyers Skate Zone in Northeast Philadelphia, with the “Got Skills” national championships taking place at Walter Brown Arena in Boston, MA.
