Players from around the country will compete and represent other NHL teams including the Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Nashville Predators, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Phoenix Coyotes and the Washington Capitols.
The Got Skills competition is an NHL supported national youth hockey skills competition with separate events for skaters and goalies. The competition runs in conjunction with the Boston Bruins, the NHL and the Ace Bailey Children's Foundation.
Ace Bailey formerly played for the Boston Bruins. On September 11, 2001 he was on his way to Los Angeles as the Director of Scouting for the LA Kings when the plane he was on struck the World Trade Center.
